Healing Hearts Survivors of Suicide

Support group for people who have lost someone to suicide. Meetings on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7 p.m. led by a facilitator and co-facilitator. Each meeting offers an educational presentation.

HERO Family Support

HERO (Heroin Epidemic Relief Organization) has been serving the New Lenox/Will County area for years. If you have a loved one who is struggling with heroin (or other drug) addiction and need some support, please attend one of our meetings. Tuesdays 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lincolnway Christian Church (690 E. Illinois Highway, New Lenox, IL) and 2nd & 4th Fridays 7 to 8 p.m. at the Canalport Conference Room (518 W Illinois Ave. Morris, IL, next to Grundy County Hospice).

Illinois Respite Coalition

The Illinois Respite Coalition (IRC) was created to educate legislators about the need for respite care services for people with disabilities. As the need for respite care began to reach across the lifespan and touch caregivers nationally, the IRC felt the need to advance the cause to advocate for many types and populations of caregivers. The IRC and its website help link Illinois residents to available services.

Illinois Youth Survey University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana

The IYS is a self-reported survey administered to 8th, 10th and 12th grade students designed to gather information about a variety of health and social indicators.
