Join Us for Free Meals and Fun Crafts!

Come join us for a delicious complimentary meal and fun crafts every Tuesday and Thursday this summer! We're excited to offer this program to every child from kindergarten to grade 12. After the meal, stay and get creative with a craft you can take home!

FAQ

The meals are provided by the Illinois Food Bank as part of the "Summer Food for Kids" program.

It's absolutely free! The Summer Food Service Program is funded by the USDA and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Meals will be served in the auditorium of Fossil Ridge Library.

Yes, registration is required and begins on Friday, May 31st, 2024, at 9 a.m. This helps us ensure we have enough meals for everyone.

We currently have 25 individual meal packages available. This may change, so register early!

All children need to be registered, so waiting in line is unnecessary.

It’s not required, but it is highly recommended for the parent to stay in the building.

We'll be providing non-perishable items, but refrigeration is available if needed.

Let us know when you sign up, and we'll try our best to accommodate your needs.

Yes, this service is for anyone in the district.

No, everything will be provided for every child.
