Level Up Your Reading!

Each summer children and adults are encouraged to register for our Summer Reading Program. The more you read the more raffle tickets you earn to put towards a variety of prizes!

How It Works

1. Sign Up:

Visit the library or sign up online to join the Summer Reading Program. Registration is quick and easy.

2. Read Books:

Grab your favorite books, eBooks, or audiobooks and start reading. Every book counts!

3. Track Your Reading:

Keep track of the books you read on your reading log. Logs can be picked up at the library or downloaded from our website.

4. Submit Your Log:

Bring your completed reading log to the library by the end of the challenge period to be entered into our prize drawing.

Important Dates

  • Challenge Start Date: First Monday in June
  • Challenge End Date: First Monday in August
  • Prize Drawing: 2025 TBD

Prizes

Participants who complete the Summer Reading Program will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win exciting prizes, including gift cards, books, and more! The more books you read, the more chances you have to win.

2025: Level Up at Your Library

Summer Reading Sign-ups begin in person on the 1st Monday in June. Reading logs will be accepted until the 1st Monday in August.

Children ages 0-9 years

Our summer reading program is designed to encourage kids to level up at your library and read. As a reward for signing up, each child will receive a tote bag filled with exciting goodies (while supplies last) to make their reading experience even more enjoyable. 

Every time your child completes a book log, they can win one of the ten amazing prizes we have in store for them. The more books they read, the more raffle tickets they earn. So, whether your child is an avid reader or just starting, they can win an incredible prize by participating in our summer reading program.

For every 5 books read in any format, your child will earn 1 raffle ticket.

Tweens ages 10-13

As part of our summer reading program, tweens who sign up will receive a swag bag filled with gift cards and giveaways from local businesses within our library district (while supplies last). For every completed book log, your tween will be entered to win one of five fantastic prizes. 

You can earn one raffle ticket for every three books read, in any format.
