Children who complete our summer reading program with receive a finale ticket to join us at Reed Custer Elementary School for finale. Children will enter the dome and be introduced to a “star filled” sky. Our navigator with the use of a digital planetarium projector and a laser pointer, will guide students through the stars of the Northern Hemisphere exactly as they appear on the day of the presentation. Children will see every planet in our solar system in dramatic “flights” towards each world. Children will witness the night sky in different seasons and from different global perspectives. Finale ticket is required, registration required.
Children’s Holiday Party. Join us as we decorate cookies, create festive craft, and view Christmas movies. Bring your camera as Santa will be making a visit. Registration required.
Join us each week as we build, create, and use our imaginations with Legos. Duplo blocks will be available for children ages 4 and under. No registration required, walk-ins welcome.
Come to the Library for video and board games, arts and crafts, free snacks, or just to hang out with your friends! No registration. Grades 6-12.
Attend these meetings to: Help plan and develop teen programs at the library. Suggest new titles of books, games, music, etc. to add to our collection. Support the library and earn community service hours throughout the year.
Toddlers and their caregivers can explore and play with different toys and sensory materials each week, develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as social interaction and language skills. Caregivers must accompany child during program. Recommend for ages birth-four years. Registration required.
