Reading takes you anywhere, even the castles from our favorite fairy tales. The Beauty bar will be here to transform your child into their favorite prince or princess including hair updo, and painted nails. We will also have prince & princess-themed stories and activities. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver. $5.00 per child due to registration, registration is required. Space is limited to 15 children max.
Wednesday, August 1st 8:30am – 10:30pm. Ages 10 and up suggested. Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. $45.00 per person includes admission and coach bus transportation. Payment is due at registration. No refunds after July 25th, cancellations will receive purchased tickets only.
You’re invited to meet William Hazelgrove, National Bestselling author of ten novels and four non-fiction titles. William will present the exciting and sprawling history behind the 1933 World’s Fair and Al Capone’s Chicago. Registration is required.
Children who complete our summer reading program with receive a finale ticket to join us at Reed Custer Elementary School for finale. Children will enter the dome and be introduced to a “star filled” sky. Our navigator with the use of a digital planetarium projector and a laser pointer, will guide students through the stars
Come experience international cuisine from around the world. Chef Brandy will take your taste buds around the globe and let you experience small bites of culture. Adults that complete one summer reading book log will receive a ticket to attend this tasty event. Must have ticket to attend.
