Library Friends Group

The Fossil Ridge Public Library “needs a little help from our friends.” We are seeking supporters willing to contribute their time and energy into making the library even better.

About The Friends

Everybody needs a friend and that is why we are asking you to be ours. Being a Friend of the Fossil Ridge Public Library lets you make a statement that you support our library and want to help expand its services and programs. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.

Purpose of The Friends

Seek financial support for the work of the library.
Attend Friend events.
Encourage use of the Library’s resources.

Membership Dues

Individual – $5.00, Family – $10.00, Business – $25.00

Family Storytime

26 Sep
Family storytime is for families with children birth – 5 years. It includes songs, rhymes, stories, and a small craft. Registration required, caregivers must attend with child.

BINGO!

Enjoy an evening out with friends and win prizes from local businesses. No fee. Registration is required.

Toddler Thursdays

27 Sep
 Toddlers and their caregivers can explore and play with different toys and sensory materials each week, develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as social interaction and language skills. Caregivers must accompany child during program. Recommend for ages birth-four years. Registration required.

Lego Club

28 Sep
Join us each week as we build, create, and use our imaginations with Legos. Duplo blocks will be available for children ages 4 and under. No registration required, walk-ins welcome.

Family Storytime

Family storyime is for families with children from birth – 5 years. It includes stories, songs, rhymes, and a small craft. Registration required, caregivers must attend with child.

Yakkiddy Kids

02 Oct
Yakiddy kids is an interactive hour for children ages 2-4 years and their caregiver. Children will learn language and social skills, and both children and their caregivers will learn simple toddler signs for everyday objects and activities, presented by Maria Yakos, a speech and language pathologist. Registration is required.
